The famous NDSM Wharf in the North of Amsterdam inspired the designers of studio APE for the NDSM chair. The wharf is known for its iconic dock cranes that have become a distinctive part of the area’s industrial aesthetic and cultural heritage. The wooden chair’s legs are a direct reference to the dock cranes, and a ship's hull formed the inspiration behind the perfect rounded backrest. The matching upholstered boucle seat gives the NDSM chair total comfort - a future-forward perspective on the timeless wooden armchair.

Admire the Faces cabinet just like the unique features of a face. Jette Scheib, the designer we collaborated with for the cabinets, is mesmerised by the heights and depths in the human face created by the incidence of light. The doors are designed as a graphic relief, inviting you to touch them. As the light changes during the day, so does the appearance of the cabinet. Faces is an eye-catcher and, at the same time, offered functional storage space.
