Introducing the latest addition to our Scholarship collection, the stunning Friuli lounge chair designed by Sarah Roseman, winner of the Zuiver Scholarship in 2022. Sarah Roseman, an interior designer from Canada - graduated in 2021 at the Design Academy Eindhoven - seamlessly blends design and functionality.

Designed with care and attention to detail, this lounge chair boasts a curvy, light design with sleek beige powder-coated legs. The variety of material and colour combinations in the different parts of the chair makes the Friuli stand out, creating a statement in every space. The backrest with a silky velvet look, combined with the suede leather look on the seat, are a match made in heaven. It's thick cushioning, together with the floating curves, hugs the body and provides comfort.

Sarah Roseman (b. 1999) is an award-winning interior designer from Canada, based in Eindhoven, who graduated in 2021 from the Design Academy Eindhoven - and is Zuiver's 2022 Scholarship winner. Her unique design sensibility is set apart by a blend of contemporary and traditional elements, resulting in designs that are both timeless and modern. She is passionate about creating a more beautiful world through materiality and works on the boundary with textiles and objects. The motivation behind her material choices is to achieve sustainability through unique processes and new materials.
